Super Max

Max Verstappen gave his rivals no chance today.

Charles Leclerc came close at the start, but Max’s superior racecraft made the difference when it mattered. Once he held the lead, the cliché “the rest is history” felt entirely appropriate.

Credit must also go to Red Bull. The progress over the last couple of races has been remarkable. Remember how low they had fallen around Silverstone? Look at them now.

Max and Red Bull had all the answers throughout the Singapore weekend.

If this is their new level of performance, the next few races could bring more bad news for their rivals. Austin, with its fast, flowing corners and two long straights, could play directly to Red Bull’s current strengths.

Let’s see. 🏎️

Capital Is Flooding Into The Physical AI Revolution

AI is stepping out of the digital screen and entering the physical world. Robotics VC deal activity hit all-time highs in early 2026, with investments climbing toward sixteen billion dollars across more than four hundred and fifty deals.

Driven by manufacturing labor shortages, aging workforces, and explosive tech breakthroughs from NVIDIA, Tesla, and a host of specialized component suppliers, automation is accelerating across factories and warehouses globally.

Whether you are looking at AI compute, machine vision sensors, motion control actuators, or humanoid robotics, the infrastructure buildout is happening right now. Download our comprehensive guide to discover the top investable robotics sectors and market drivers.

Kimi Means Business

Mercedes spent much of the weekend playing catch-up, but Kimi Antonelli stuck with the updated car and old front wing as the team searched for performance.

The real statement came on track.

Kimi went wheel-to-wheel with Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton — and held his own against both. He made the move on Norris look easy, then showed he could fight the seven-time World Champion without hesitation.

That is no longer just a rookie promise. It is a driver making his case for the future.

Third place and 15 points from today’s race strengthen Kimi’s championship campaign. Could Austin crown him as the youngest World Champion in F1 history?🏎️

Is Norris Feeling Guilty?

Read yesterday’s post about Lando Norris’s racecraft, then look at his battles with Antonelli — and Hamilton on much older tyres.

As the saying goes, no comment needed.

But the bigger question after the Sprint is this: does Lando realise what he has done?

His unusually arrogant post-Sprint interviews, McLaren’s visible frustration at a situation the team could have avoided, and the sudden effort to portray himself as a team player all paint an interesting picture.

Then came the repeated question over the radio about how he could help his team-mate — delivered as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

But was he asking the same question yesterday?

We all know the answer.

It looks increasingly as though Norris understands the gravity of the situation — and the hole he has dug for himself.

Let’s hope he knows how to climb out. 🏎️
